ZoraBots Nao V6 w/ Zora Solution is a robot with innate knowledge, capable of learning and sharing knowledge.
NAO is a 58 centimeter tall, round, bipedal robot. Since its inception in 2006, NAO has continued to evolve, and in 2018, it was released as version 6 (NAO 6), which integrated a new CPU and improved performance. It has 25 degrees of freedom and can move and adapt to its surroundings.
It has seven touch sensors on its head, hands, and feet, and a sonar and inertial device to sense its surroundings and determine its position in space. It has four directional microphones and speakers to communicate with people, and two 2D cameras to recognize shapes, objects, and people.
NAO is a programmable personal teacher assistant that helps teachers bring their lessons to life and helps students learn more interestingly and specifically.
NAO makes every lesson better. NAO is interactive, intuitive, and friendly, designed to capture students’ attention, gain their trust, and keep them engaged. NAO has the knowledge, personality, patience, and positive attitude to inspire students to stay focused and keep trying.
NAO combines theory and practice, encouraging participation, teamwork, and creative problem solving through hands-on projects. NAO is knowledgeable and versatile enough to work with students from kindergarten through graduate school. NAO can show STEM students the power of coding, or provide extra support and attention to children with special needs.
NAO is designed to be highly customizable, allowing you to easily add new content, features, skills, and tricks. You can also develop your personality in the process. Teachers around the world are using NAO to motivate students, improve teamwork, and increase interest and knowledge in future STEM technologies. NAO is designed to move naturally and go almost anywhere. It can detect obstacles, avoid falls, and get right back up.
NAO is fluent in over 20 languages, allowing it to communicate clearly and easily with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Tactile sensors on NAO’s head, hands, and feet help NAO respond as needed. NAO can hear, see, and identify you. Who you are and how you feel.
Fully open and programmable, NAO runs on the NAOqi OS. NAOqi OS is a flexible framework that provides a ton of options to customize NAO the way you want, from various SDKs to visual programming interfaces like Blockly and Scratch to easy-to-use drag-and-drop graphing software like Choregraphe.
