The Velleman Bagpipe Electronic Audio Oscillator Soldering Kit is an audio oscillator kit similar to the MLP110 MadLab Electronics Kit - Wonky Wire. However, the Bagpipe Kit can produce eight different sounds with frequencies ranging from approximately 5 kHz (5000 cycles per second) to approximately 300 Hz.
To use the bagpipe, move the stylus wire up and down the network of resistors R1 to R8 that make up the keypad. As each keypad resistor is touched in turn, the voltage at the end of the stylus changes.
