The Solarbotics Paris Flyer CarouSol Soldering Kit combines the golden age of airships with transoceanic steam-powered travel. It borrows design elements from the golden age of air travel. The laser-cut MDF boards are easily bonded together to create a truly mobile solar-powered vehicle.
Using solar engine technology, electricity is stored in solar cells and released intermittently to power an engine attached to the rear of the airship, which rotates around a brass-plated point on the docking tower. It can take up to 30 minutes to start in the dark, but will work continuously in sunlight. This is a fully solar-powered mobile device!
