Mini Pupper brings robotics to schools, homeschools, hobbyists, and more
ROS: Supports ROS SLAM & Navigation, Amazon RoboMaker, and is endorsed by ROS and Amazon
Opencv: Supports the official OAK D Lite 3D camera module and is endorsed by OpenCV
Open Source: Allows DIY and custom projects, and has won a Hackaday award!
Pi: Highly extensible and endorsed by Raspberry Pi
The Mini Pupper Open Source ROS Robot Dog Kit (pre-assembled) is equipped with lidar and camera sensors that allow it to map its surroundings and learn in real time. This enables the robot to answer questions like "Where am I?" and "Where am I going?", giving it self-driving technology.
The robot is not limited to jumping, trotting, and running, it can do a few different things. It has everything it needs to complete its tasks. Under the hood, Mini Pupper is based on the Raspberry Pi, so it is highly extensible.
We want hackers, makers, and students to use it and make the coolest projects. You can explore fun behaviors like skipping and push-ups, or design your own use cases. Servo motors are a key component of a robot dog, and Mini Pupper is equipped with high-torque servos, making it fast and stable. We chose the right options to ensure the robot has personality and is approachable.
Mini Pupper is made for you. It’s the open source, ROS, OpenCV robot dog platform you’ve been waiting for.
