The MakeKit Wheel:Bit and micro:bit is a versatile three-wheeled vehicle that can transform into a drawing machine or a soccer-playing robot. It is able to operate autonomously or be remotely controlled by another micro:bit. The vehicle can be creatively transformed into a dinosaur or a custom rod, offering a unique blend of craft and technology.
This three-wheeled vehicle can be customized into anything from a drawing robot to a unique off-road vehicle or the base of a vintage car. It provides an opportunity to learn about coding, geometry and sensors as well as radio control, physics, acceleration and design. The vehicle is built from scratch, providing hands-on experience in electronics, physics and design.
Programming can be done using MakeCode Blocks, Javascript or Python, or by downloading an existing program. The vehicle can also be upgraded and modified using a 3D printer, but this is optional.
Instructions and videos are included in the package to assist with the building process.
