The Lynxmotion SES-V2 robotic arm (5 degrees of freedom) with intelligent servo kit is Lynxmotion's 6th generation articulated robotic arm, including wrist rotation upgrade. This unassembled kit is designed as a hobby/proportional version of an industrial robotic arm, centered around the fully configurable Lynx motion intelligent servo motor and Lynx motion servo mounting kit (SES v2) modular construction system.
Lynxmotion intelligent servo motors are designed and optimized for articulated robot joints and ease of use. The customized LSS communication protocol is easy to read, using full duplex (dedicated Tx and Rx lines) and optional baud rates. Optimize motion by changing the properties of each servo; From setting the maximum speed or angle range to angular acceleration, maintaining stiffness, etc. You can query various real-time values or configuration settings for each servo, including sensor feedback from absolute encoders (position, speed, etc.), current, voltage, and temperature.
LSS-ROS2 Arms is a completely open-source ROS package that can control physical or simulated SES V2 Arm (4DoF or 5DoF versions).
