The Lynxmotion SES-V1 AL5D PLTW robotic arm (5 DoF) kit is designed specifically for PLTW schools. It includes a complete AL5D robotic arm, as well as a medium-sized wrist rotation upgrade, SSC-32U servo controller board, and a USB cable. The SSC-32U board means that USB to serial adapters and 9V batteries are no longer needed.
The Lynxmotion AL5D 4-degree-of-freedom robotic arm can achieve fast, accurate, and repeatable motion. Lynxmotion has designed an affordable system based on a proven and durable design that is long-lasting. This kit includes everything needed to assemble and operate the robot, as well as a medium-sized wrist rotation device, USB cable, additional servo cable, and FlowArm PLTW software. The aluminum robotic arm is made of Lynxmotion's servo upright machine components, which have extremely high flexibility and scalability. This kit includes black anodized aluminum brackets, aluminum tubes and wheels, custom injection molded parts, and precision laser cut Lexan parts.
