The design adopts a simple mechanical leg design and an all metal bracket
Provide black anodized bracket and black polycarbonate body
Use standard sized Hitec servers to control legs
Includes everything needed to manufacture functional robots
The Lynxmotion Mini Hex hexapod robot kit MH2U (BotBoarduino+SSC-32) features a simple mechanical leg design and an all metal bracket. This leg design minimizes the number of parts required to manufacture dual degree of freedom (DOF) legs and allows the robot to operate like a tank. Support forward, backward, and stationary turning. The robot uses standard sized Hitec servers as legs. The combination kit includes everything needed to manufacture functional robots, except for batteries and optional PS2 controllers.

Mechanical structure robot
The main body is made of ultra sturdy laser cut PVC structural components, while the legs are made of high-quality aluminum servo upright brackets.
Control robots
The combination kit comes with SSC-32 and BotBoarduino. By offloading servo pulse generation and sequential motion timing to SSC-32, the microcontroller has enough capability to do some really cool things.
SSC-32 Servo Sequencer Utility (created using FlowBotics Studio)
The Lynxmotion SSC-32 servo controller board can be easily controlled through the new SSC-32 servo sequencer utility. It can be downloaded for free and allows for easy experimentation with robots and electronic animations. You can find it in the 'Useful Links' section.
This utility is an example of a program type that can be built using the Lynx Motion FlowBotics Studio graphic programming software (download), which includes this program as an open source demonstration project. The SSC-32 servo sequencer utility allows you to easily move servo motors, calibrate their positions, store and replay motion sequences, upgrade SSC-32 firmware, and more.
