This robot has base rotation, single plane shoulder, elbow, wrist movement, functional gripper, and optional wrist rotation. The AL5D robotic arm is an affordable system with a time tested and sturdy design that is durable. The kit includes everything needed to assemble and operate the robot, as well as various software control options.
- The aluminum robotic arm is made of Servo Erector Set components, which have extremely high flexibility and scalability. This kit includes black anodized aluminum brackets, aluminum tubes and wheels, custom injection molded components, and precision laser cut Lexan components. The arm base uses 1 x HS-475HB, the shoulder uses 1 x HS-805BB, the elbow uses 1 x HS-755HB, the wrist uses 1 x HS-645MG, and the gripper uses 1 x HS-422.
