DFRobotShop Rover V2- Arduino compatible tracked robot (smartphone development kit) is a multifunctional mobile robot tank based on the popular Arduino Uno USB microcontroller Rev 3 microcontroller. Rover uses the popular Tamiya dual motor gearbox and Tamiya track and wheel sets. The DFRobotShop Rover PCB integrates the standard Arduino Uno (surface mount ATMega328), L293B motor driver (connected to pins 5 to 8), voltage regulator, and prototype design area, while contributing to the mechanical structure of the robot. The onboard voltage regulator allows the use of voltages as low as 3.7V to~9V * to power the entire circuit board

Important note

1) If you are using a 4xAA battery pack, please remove the jumper located on the left rear of the circuit board.

2) This is a development platform that only provides basic code. Users need to develop an application to communicate with the rover. If you believe that your application will be well received by many people, we encourage you to improve it and sell it on Google Play, and catch our attention.

In order to make assembly as simple as possible, we provide solderless quick connect terminals, allowing customers to choose to crimp wires to the motor (welding is still preferred). DFRobotShop Rover is compatible with various shielding covers when used with motor drivers, and is compatible with all shielding covers when not using motor drivers. Other features include 2 encoder connectors connected to A0 and A1, encoder pairs for Tamiya dual motor gearbox, pin arrangement for DFRobot Bluetooth and DFRobot APC220 RF modules, and 6 cool blue LEDs placed around the circuit board (jumper optional).

*Please note that the Tamiya dual motor gearbox included in the kit operates at 4.5V. For 6V motors, please purchase 2x RB Pol-202.
