The DFRobot HCR Mobile Robot Kit is a 3 level configurable 2 wheel drive mobile robot platform. You can use individual parts depending on the stage you need, or you can create a 2 stage robot. The kit includes 2 motors, 2 wheels, 3 wheel swivel casters, and all associated plates and hardware. There is a dedicated space to support servos and sensors, and the base has holes for mounting a mini-ITX motherboard.
The second generation DFRobot HCR (Homecare Robot) platform is equipped with new motors and wheels. The custom high quality DC motors feature a lightly coded construction, are quiet, and have high torque numbers. The encoder has 663 pulses per revolution, giving the wheel an accuracy of 0.54 degrees. This resolution meets the common specifications and requirements of popular PID speed controllers. Additionally, the new HCR platform will bring new experiences to users, including the installation of Kinect.
