Nexus Robotics has announced the 3WD Compact Omnidirectional Arduino Compatible Mobile Robot Kit. It is a three-wheel drive mobile robot with omnidirectional wheels. It can move in any direction by changing the speed and direction of each wheel without changing the orientation of the robot itself. It includes a microcontroller, IO expansion board, DC motor with encoder, infrared and ultrasonic sensors. Pre-drilled screw holes allow for easy expansion.
